Bureaucrats Magazine – Breaking News- The UP government has made a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy. Principal Secretary Alok Kumar has been removed after allegations of irregularities in the medical department. IAS Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma has been given additional charge of Medical Education Department. Dainik Bhaskar had published the news of ignoring the rules in the tender of the Medical Education Department 12 days ago.
Bureaucrats Magazine – Apart from this, on Saturday the government transferred 10 IAS officers. Of these, DMs of 6 districts – Barabanki, Maharajganj, Jhansi, Bareilly, Sultanpur and Fatehpur have been changed. At the same time, responsibilities of 4 senior officers have been increased.

This irregularity came to light in the tender related to purchase of goods in the new medical college.

Bureaucrats Magazine –The matter of ignoring rules in the tender of Medical Education Department is related to Rs 426 crore. For this, the Medical Education Department gave a contract of more than Rs 400 crore to the government PSU Heights (HITES). In this case, a government order was also issued by the department to pay 2% consultancy fee to the Heights Company. About 50% of the amount was also given in advance. Cabinet approval was necessary for the purchase of resources of such huge value. But, this is where things went wrong. This contract was given without cabinet approval.

Bureaucrats Magazine –The responsibility of 4 senior IAS officers has been increased by the government. Among them, there are 3 principal secretaries and one secretary rank officer. M. Devaraj, Principal Secretary, Provisional Education Department, has been made Principal Secretary, Vocational Education and Skill Development Department with the existing responsibility. Dr. MKS Sundaram, Principal Secretary, Vocational Education and Skill Development Department, has been made Principal Secretary, Basic Education Department.At the same time, Bal Krishna Tripathi was made the commissioner of Chitrakoot division. Apart from this, Parthsen Sharma has been given additional responsibility of Medical Education Department. Parth was earlier the Principal Secretary in the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare.

- Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma: will now hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Medical Education Department along with Principal Secretary, Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department.
- Balkrishna Tripathi: Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch has now been made Incharge Commissioner, Chitrakootdham Division.
- C. Indumati: Now he has been made DM of Fatehpur in place of Mission Director, UP State Rural Livelihood Mission.
- Krittika Jyotsna: Special Secretary, Food, Logistics Department and Managing Director has now been made DM of Sultanpur.
- Anunaya Jha: Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Mathura-Vrindavan has now been given the responsibility of Maharajganj DM.
- Satyendra Kumar: DM Maharajganj has now been made DM of Barabanki.
- Avinash Kumar: DM Barabanki has now been made DM of Jhansi.
- Ravindra Kumar: DM Jhansi was made DM of Bareilly.
- New records of violation of rules are being created in the Medical Education Department of the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh, which has raised the slogan of ‘Thinking Honest – Working Strong’. Last year, Deputy Chief Minister and departmental minister Brijesh Pathak had expressed his displeasure with his own officers through letter bombs regarding huge irregularities in transfer-posting in the Medical and Health Department. So now there has been a big disturbance in the tender worth Rs 400 crore in the Medical Education Department which comes under them.
