Bureaucrats Magazine – Dev Chaudhary is an IAS officer from the 2016 batch of Rajasthan cadre. He cleared his UPSC examinations at a young age in the year 2016. He is presently appointed as the Assistant Collector in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is also posted as DDO- Rajkot, Gujarat.
Rajasthan cadre IAS officer Dev Choudhary, who cleared UPSC 2016, hails from the border district of Barmer. Dev Choudhary did B.Sc. from Barmer College. He had set the goal of becoming an IAS at an early age.
Bureaucrats Magazine – Dev Chaudhary is from the border district of Barmer. His father, Sujanram, was a teacher. Dev Chaudhary cleared the civil services exam in his fourth attempt. He says that his initial schooling was in a village school.
Dev Kumar has been a student of Hindi medium. During UPSC preparation, I had to struggle a lot to find standard study material for Hindi. Dev Choudhary cracked the UPSC exam in his fourth attempt in the year 2013. Due to this, he also had to learn English well.
Bureaucrats Magazine – Dev gave his next attempt in 2012. This time he cleared Mains along with Prelims, but was eliminated in the interview stage. But he did not give up due to this. He took the UPSC exam once again in the year 2014. This time also he did not succeed in becoming an IAS.
He started preparing for UPSC right after graduation. Talking about his family background, his father was a teacher. His early schooling took place in the village school itself.
