While giving information to the media, he said that with the aim of making Bundelkhand a separate state, he has formed Bundelkhand Democratic Party. Which will also be registered soon.
Bureaucrats Magazine – Former DGP Sulkhan Singh said that there is a demand for a separate state Bundelkhand by combining seven districts of Uttar Pradesh and eight districts of Madhya Pradesh. Elaborating, he said that there will be 15 districts in Bundelkhand state. Sulkhan Singh said that he will single-handedly raise the awareness for creating a separate state of Bundelkhand by becoming Bundelkhand Democratic Party. Accusing political parties, he said that ambitions are stopping them from becoming small states.

The DGP said that both will work to run a public relations campaign by going from village to village in the Bundelkhand region divided into 15 districts of the state.
