2014 batch IAS officer Medha Rupam took charge as the ACEO of Greater Noida Authority on Thursday. Before this she had been DM of Hapur. At the same time, Prerna Sharma, who was the ACEO in Greater Noida Authority till now, has also been relieved. He has been transferred to the post of District Magistrate in Hapur. After assuming charge, ACEO Medha Rupam also inspected the cricket ground of Greater Noida Sports Complex.

IAS Medha Rupam was born in Agra, UP. Father Gyanesh Gupta is also an IAS officer. Her father’s posting was in Kerala, so Medha’s initial education was also from there. In the year 2008 he passed 12th. During this time he developed an interest in shooting. IAS Medha Rupam took training in 10 meter air rifle PP sight and did something which had never happened before by participating in the Kerala State Shooting Championship. By winning three gold medals, he made a Kerala state record.

He completed his graduation from Delhi. Here she continued participating in shooting championships at the university level. Participated in the National Championship in 2009, but later left shooting for civil service. In the year 2014, she passed the civil services examination and became a topper. He got IAS rank. After that he was trained in Mussoorie. After completing his training in June 2015, his first posting was as Joint Magistrate in Meerut, UP.
While staying here, he won the gold of shooting championship in Johri, Baghpat.
