IAS IPS siblings: Anil Mishra, who lives in Lal Ganj in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, is a manager in a rural bank. It has always been his desire that both his sons and daughters become high-ranking officers. And the four siblings have successfully passed the UPSC exam and fulfilled this wish. All four of Anil Mishra’s children are IAS and IPS officers.
Date- August 2, 2012 and the place Lalgunj area of Pratapgarh in UP. Like always, the entire Mishra family was gathered together at home on Raksha Bandhan. Anil Mishra, who works as a manager in a rural bank, his wife, both sons, and both daughters were busy preparing for the festival. However, there was some sadness on the faces of the two daughters. The reason was the UPSC result that had come just a day earlier. Anil Mishra’s two daughters – Kshama and Madhavi could not make it to the merit list. When the elder brother Yogesh Mishra saw sadness on both sisters’ faces, he couldn’t resist and made a big decision.
In a private software company in Noida, software engineer Yogesh first wanted to know where his sisters are actually working. For this, he decided to leave his job, first pass the UPSC exam himself, and then prepare both his sisters. When the family heard this decision, everyone was shocked. Why take such a risk leaving a good job? However, Yogesh had decided to leave his job to take the UPSC exam to help his sisters. This was Yogesh’s Rakshabandhan gift for both his sisters.
Left the job, prepared, and became IAS in the same year…
Yogesh resigned from his job at the beginning of the next year in 2013 and started preparing for the UPSC exam. That year, Yogesh completely immersed himself in studies. He made notes, prepared with a complete strategy, and the next year when the result was announced, Yogesh’s name was on the merit list. Based on his rank, he was given the IAS cadre. Now it was time for the promise he made to his sisters on Raksha Bandhan. Yogesh started preparing both sisters. He also prepared their notes himself.
Madhavi and Lokesh also became IAS officers the next year...With her brother, Madhavi joined in the preparation and took the UPSC exam, and this time her result was different. It was a result that not only Madhavi but also her whole family was waiting for. In the 2015 UPSC result, Madhavi secured the 62nd rank. Just like her brother, Madhavi also became an IAS officer. Meanwhile, their younger brother Lokesh also appeared in the UPSC exam the same year and became an IAS officer with the 44th rank. In the Mishra family, now there were three members who cracked the UPSC. However, Yogesh’s promise was still unfulfilled. There was still pending to have Kshama clear the UPSC.
Kshama got into the IPS cadre …..Kshama received support from Yogesh, as well as from Madhavi and Lokesh, in her preparation. She took the exam and in the very next year, in 2016, Kshama secured the 172nd rank. Based on her rank, Kshama was allocated to the IPS cadre. The head of the Mishra family, Anil Mishra, was delighted that all four of his children had become IAS and IPS officers. However, Yogesh was the most delighted because he fulfilled his promise to his sisters on Raksha Bandhan. Within just three years, four IAS and IPS officers emerged in the Mishra family.
