An IPS officer brought glory to the name of Uttar Pradesh Police by winning the bronze medal in discus throw in the World Police Games from China. On which the DGP had awarded a gold medal. This IPS officer himself became Corona positive while serving the public during the Corona infection epidemic. Let it be known that Vijay Dhull was born on 20 October 1981 in the family of Dharamveer Singh in village Rasoi of Sonipat district of Haryana. His primary education was at Motilal Nehru Sports School in the same village. Vijay Dhull obtained Bachelor of Arts degree in Hindi, English and Political Science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Vijay Dhull was expert in reading since childhood.

After graduation, he was selected in the Merchant Navy. Even after being selected in the Merchant Navy, Vijay Dhull continued his studies. During that time, he passed the Civil Services examination and became an IPS officer of 2012 batch.

IPS Vijay Dhull was posted in Noida, Meerut, Basti, Lucknow. He has held the command of the post of Superintendent of Police Siddharthnagar. Let us tell you that in 2019, Police Fire Games were organized in Chengdu city of China, in which police from all over the world participated. IPS Vijay Dhull was also sent to China in discus throw by Uttar Pradesh Police. He had brought laurels to Uttar Pradesh Police as well as his country by winning the bronze medal in discus throw in the 18th World Police Games. The then Director General of Police Omprakash Singh had encouraged IPS Vijay Dhull by giving him a gold medal on his return home.

IPS Vijay Dhull was infected with Corona infection while holding the post of Police Captain of Siddharthnagar. He had himself isolated in SGPGI Lucknow. IPS Vijay Dhull had defeated Corona infection. The doctor had advised him to rest at home during leave, but IPS Vijay Dhull gave up rest and gave priority to serving the public.

Vijay Dhull himself took to the streets and worked as a Corona warrior during the entire lockdown. To ensure that the people of Siddharthnagar remain healthy and safe, IPS Vijay Dhull worked tirelessly and tirelessly with the police force like a warrior.
