#IAS Dr. Rajneesh Dubey, Chairman of the Revenue Council of Uttar Pradesh, is set to retire on August 31, 2024.

Dr. Rajneesh Dube, an IAS officer of the 1988 batch, has had a distinguished career marked by diverse and impactful roles. With an MBBS degree and a diploma in German, he embarked on his IAS journey on August 25, 1988, starting as the Secretary of the Board of Commissioners’ Kaimoor Survey Agency in Sonbhadra.

Over the years, Dr. Dube has held several key positions, including Chief Development Officer in multiple districts, Registrar at Kashi Vidyapith, and Magistrate & Collector in Hardoi, Firozabad, Fatehpur, and Jhansi. His expertise in administration also saw him serve as the Special Secretary in the Excise Department and Director of Handloom & UPICA in Kanpur Nagar.

In subsequent years, Dr. Dube took on roles such as Director of Cultural Affairs, Secretary of Family Welfare, and Inspector General of Stamp & Registration. His national-level experience includes serving as Joint Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests.

He further contributed to the governance of Uttar Pradesh as Principal Secretary in various departments, including PWD, Revenue, Medical Education, and Urban Development. Notably, he was also the Additional Chief Secretary of Urban Development and Dairy Development Departments.

As of February 28, 2024, Dr. Rajneesh Dube holds the esteemed position of Chairman, Board of Revenue, in Lucknow, reflecting his extensive experience and leadership in public administration.
