Bureaucrats Magazine – The Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh will now be Ajay Kumar Shukla. 2001 batch IAS officer Ajay Kumar Shukla took over as the new Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Ajay Shukla has been newly posted in place of IAS officer L Venkateshwar Lu. L Venkateshwar Lu has conducted many by-elections in UP apart from the general elections of Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha.
