Director, Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management/Nodal Officer of the district, IAS Neena Sharma, organized a Chaupal in Majhowa Kala village of Rudhauli block, listened to the problems of the people and directed the departmental officers regarding their solution. An exhibition was organized by about a dozen departments in Chaupal and the benefits of the schemes were given to the beneficiaries.
To check the quality of education in the Chaupal programme, he interacted with primary school students. He listened to a story named ‘Chidiya’ from Ayushi, a Class 1 student and rewarded her. District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan and CDO Dr. Rajesh Kumar Prajapati were present during the inspection. The nodal officer obtained information regarding pending inheritance in the village.
He took information about the work done under MNREGA in the Gram Panchayat and inquired from the villagers about its quality. He expressed satisfaction over construction of toilets for disabled children in the primary school. Taking information regarding the cow shed located in the village, he said that no animal should roam free. On this occasion, he interrogated the mothers about the work and conduct of the school cooks and the quality of the food prepared by them.
While laying the foundation stone of the kitchen shed between the pre-secondary school and the primary school, he directed that its construction work should be done with full quality. He inspected Amrit Sarovar located next to the school and also planted trees there. He obtained information regarding the removal of the Panchayat Assistant and directed that the new Panchayat Assistant should be posted only after obtaining approval from the District Magistrate.
On this occasion, he presented Ayushman card to a child and while giving the approval letter of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to Suman, Sunita, Babuni, Gudiya, Indravati, Poonam, Kanchan, Nisha, Sangeeta, he said that Rs. 40000/- of the first installment is in their account. While conducting the program, PD Kamlesh Soni said that during the Chaupal program, names of 76 people were added to the ration cards. 10 new ration cards were made, 126 persons were registered by the Labor Department and 2 were given assistance of Rs 55000/- for the marriage of their daughters.
