Riya Kejriwal, an IAS officer from the 2017 batch who is presently Joint magistrate-Balrampur has been transferred and posted as Chief Development Officer-Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh.
The UP government has started transferring officers before the beginning of assembly session and ground breaking ceremony.
The most important transfer done so far is that of IAS Riya Kejriwal of 2017 batch, from CDO Balrampur to CDO, Lucknow. Kejriwal’s husband IAS Ishan Pratap Singh is a 2017 batch officer recently made special secretary to CM from CDO Shravasti. Sanjeev Maurya, Joint Magistrate in Amethi was sent as CDO Balrampur. Lucknow CDO Ashwani Pandey has been made principal secretary tourism department as Principal Secretary Mukesh Mishra was going on Central deputation.
On the other hand, putting an end to various reports on social media about creation of a new commissionerate in Ghaziabad, the government has posted a new SSP in the form of 2009 batch IPS officer Muniraj, who holds additional charge of SSP Ghaziabad. But now he has been made the new SSP of Ghaziabad.While 2018 batch IPS Palash Bansal, ASP Ayodhya has been transferred as ASP Aligarh (Rural). Further the government also issued transfer orders of 4 PCS officers, in which PCS Rashmi Singh OSD of Election Commission has been made Asst Director Local Bodies Directorate. Also PCS Savita Shukla has been transferred from OSD EC to Asst Director Local Bodies Directorate.
PCS Kuldev has been transferred as SDM Etah to SDM Mainpuri while PCS Shiv Narayan has been transferred from SDM Shamli to SDM Mainpuri.

Chandigarh, January 17, 2021: The ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has transferred Riya Kejriwal (2017 batch) from Rajasthan cadre to Uttar Pradesh cadre on ground of marriage to Ishan Pratap Singh (IAS-2017 batch).
