In his place, Basti DM Priyanka Niranjan has been made the District Magistrate of Mirzapur. After being transferred from Mirzapur, IAS Divya Mittal made an emotional post on Twitter/X. Originally from Rewari, Haryana, Divya Mittal has done B.Tech from IIT Delhi and MBA from IIM Bangalore. After this he joined a corporate company in London. But both she and her husband Gagandeep Singh were not interested in corporate jobs and left the job and came back to India. The couple came here and started preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam.
First year in 2011, Gagandeep Singh became IAS and then in 2012, Divya Mittal became IPS after clearing UPSC. Although her training was still going on, she became an IAS in 2013. Both are officers of UP cadre.
