In fact, after getting information about the horrific road accident in Lakhimpur Kheri, IAS Roshan Jacob reached Lakhimpur District Hospital to meet the injured. During this, he inquired about the entire incident from the passengers injured in this horrific road accident and inquired about their condition. He also instructed the doctors to immediately refer the seriously injured to Lucknow for treatment. During this, his eyes fell on a bed where a mother was crying seeing the pain of her injured child, after which Roshan Jacob reached there and talked to the injured child and the mother. During this, tears started coming out of Roshan Jacob’s eyes.

In a major road accident in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday morning, 8 people died while more than 25 passengers were injured. The accident happened when a private bus going from Dhorhara to Lucknow and a truck collided head-on near Khamaria bridge of Isha Nagar police station. In the accident, 6 people died on the spot, while two succumbed during treatment.

About 25 passengers injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. It is feared that the death toll may increase. According to the information being received, there were 35-40 people in the bus. The speed of the bus was very fast when the accident happened. ADM Sanjay Kumar told that eight people have died in the accident, while 25 passengers are injured. The condition of some of the injured is critical, who have been referred to Lucknow for treatment.
Chief Minister expressed grief
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the road accident in district Lakhimpur Kheri. Wishing peace to the departed soul, the Chief Minister expressed condolences to the bereaved family members. At the same time, the Chief Minister immediately sent the injured to the hospital and instructed the officials of the district administration for their proper treatment. He has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Along with this, the District Magistrate and senior police officers have been instructed to go to the spot and get the relief work done on a war footing.
