Special Secretary Administrative Reforms Dhirendra Singh Sachan, 52, came out on a bicycle on Sunday to give the message of pollution-free environment and healthy society. 72 km between Lucknow to Kanpur. Completed the journey in just three and a half hours. On reaching Kanpur, he was welcomed at Jajmau Gangapul. He said that a fit and healthy society will be created by manual labor and the campaign of Fit India Hit India will be dynamic.
Chairman of UP Cycling Association, Cycling Federation of India (CFI), Vice President of UP Olympic Association and Special Secretary in Government of Uttar Pradesh, has a special interest in sports. Originally a resident of Lalbangla Defense Colony, the Special Secretary is in discussion for his contribution to many sports along with cycling. He told that people give priority to the vehicle which is harmful for their health as well as for the environment. Cycling is the best way to keep the body fit.
He told that from Lucknow at 4 am, he covered a distance of 72 km by mountain cycling at a speed of about 19 km per hour. Wherever he stopped between Lucknow to Kanpur, he inspired the youth to take up cycling. He was welcomed by the members of UP Cycling Association at Jajmau Gangapul. During this, CFI Chairman Onkar Singh, UP Olympic Association’s Anandeshwar Pandey, General Secretary of Cycling Association RK Gupta, Jitendra Singh, Major Yogendra, Sanjeev Sharma, Arvind Awasthi, Ram Narayan Sachan etc were present.
