Bureaucrats Magazine –The 1999 batch officer Sanyukta Samaddar, originally was from Haryana Cadre but after marrying IAS officer Ravindra of 1999 batch UP Cadre, on November 28, 2000 DOPT changed her cadre from Haryana to Uttar Pradesh. Sanyukta’s husband IAS Ravindra is presently Secretary in Medical Health and Family Welfare department.

Speculations are rife, from bureaucracy of Uttar Pradesh to that of Delhi, as to who would be the new resident commissioner of UP in New Delhi. Senior IAS Prabhat Kumar Sarangi of 1986 batch, currently posted as Resident Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh in New Delhi, is set to retire on April 30, 2022.

From New Delhi to Lucknow, the names of 3 IAS officers who aspired for this chair are front runners in the race in which the first name is that of 1989 batch senior IAS officer Sanjay R Bhoosreddy, ACS Sugar Industries and Cane Development, Excise Department and Commissioner, Cane Investment Commissioner, who is making preparations to settle in Delhi post retirement in 2023. Likewise the second name is that of IAS Narendra Bhushan of 1992 batch, who is currently posted as CEO Greatar Noida, Gautambudh Nagar. He has also met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
