Bureaucrats Magazine –Akshat Verma, posted as CDO in Sitapur, has been made the Municipal Commissioner in Varanasi. IAS Akshat Verma of 2017 batch was born on 6 September 1990 in Ayodhya district. Father is a doctor in Ayodhya District Hospital. Akshat Verma’s primary education was completed from Army School in Ayodhya district. After that, Akshat Verma started preparing for IAS after doing B.Tech from IIT Roorkee in 2012. While pursuing B.Tech from Roorkee, he also did internship at Beijing Jiaotong University, China.

Akshat Verma got selected as IRS in 2015 by securing 667 rank. He worked as Assistant Commissioner in the Income Tax Department. After getting selected in IRS, Akshat Verma did not stop. After that, Akshat Verma passed the civil examination and became an IAS officer of 2017 batch.
