Mr. Niraj Kumar, a 2009-batch IRS-IT (Income Tax) officer, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MoIB). According to a circular issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on June 12, Mr. Kumar will serve in this position for a period of five years under the central staffing scheme.
