IAS Madhumita’s journey is a testament to perseverance and resilience. Despite setbacks in her first two attempts—reaching the Mains but falling short in the interview in 2017, and not clearing the prelims in 2018—she remained undeterred.
Her unwavering commitment saw her spend five years away from home, cutting off from social media, and even missing her brother’s wedding to focus on her goal. These sacrifices culminated in success when she secured an impressive All India Rank of 86 in the 2019 UPSC civil services exam. Relocating to Delhi for her third attempt, Madhumita’s determination turned her challenges into triumphs, proving that hard work and dedication can overcome any obstacle.It was her dedication that earned IAS Madhumita a place among the top 100 candidates.
IAS Madhumita recounted the setbacks she encountered in her journey: in 2017, she reached the Mains stage but fell short in the interview, and in 2018, she was unable to clear the preliminary examination.
In her third attempt, IAS Madhumita made significant sacrifices, disconnecting from social media and distancing herself from her family. She even chose to miss her brother’s wedding, dedicating all her focus to her studies.
Madhumita’s sacrifices ultimately paid off when she achieved her dream of becoming an IAS officer. Born and raised in Panipat, Haryana, Madhumita was a standout scholar from an early age, securing the top position in her Class 10 board exams in 2010 from Maharana Pratap Public School, Samalkha. She continued to excel academically, earning the second rank in her Class 12 board exams in 2012.
She went on to pursue a BBA degree from Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), where she graduated as the university topper. Madhumita’s journey was driven by her father’s aspirations for her to become an officer, with a focus on her career before marriage.
