Kajal Jawla, an IAS officer, triumphed in the UPSC exam on her fifth attempt in 2018, securing the 28th rank. Remarkably, Jawla balanced a demanding job for nine years while preparing for the exam. Her focused approach allowed her to excel despite her professional commitments. During this period, she delegated household responsibilities to her husband, ensuring her sole focus remained on her career and studies.
Kajal Jawla dedicated herself to her UPSC preparation with remarkable discipline. During her daily commutes to the office, she made the most of her three-hour cab rides by studying diligently. On holidays, she immersed herself in continuous study sessions, employing a variety of strategies to tackle each stage of the rigorous UPSC exam.
Kajal Jawla, hailing from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, completed her B.Tech in Electronic Communication from Mathura in 2010. Following her graduation, she embarked on a successful career with Wipro, where she earned an impressive annual salary of Rs 23 lakh. Despite this lucrative position, Kajal chose to leave her job and pursue her ambition of becoming an IAS officer.
