Bureaucrats Magazine – Donald Phillips Wahlang has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Meghalaya. He will replace Rebecca V Suchiang, who will retire on July 31.

He is also Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited and its 3 (three) subsidiaries viz, Meghalaya Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (MPGCL), Meghalaya Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (MPTCL) & Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. (MPDCL).
