Bureaucrats Magazine – Having completed his B.Tech in electrical engineering from IIT Madras in 1988, Mr. Gopalika joined the civil services in 1989, undergoing training at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) in Kolkata and the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) in New Delhi. His training also included visits to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the United States.
Bureaucrats Magazine – Commencing his career as an assistant collector in Burdwan district in 1991, Mr. Gopalika has since served in various capacities, including sub-divisional officer (SDO) of Alipurduar and Kharagpur, additional district magistrate (ADM) of Malda and Howrah, and district magistrate (DM) of Purulia, Hooghly, and South 24 Parganas districts.
