In a significant development, Mr. Robin Hibu, a 1993-batch IPS officer from the AGMUT cadre and known as the ‘Super Cop’ from Arunachal Pradesh, has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). This promotion marks him as the first IPS officer from Arunachal to reach the pinnacle of India’s premier police service.
