Shri Manoj Joshi is the Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in the Government of India. He was appointed to this position in December 2021.
Joshi is a 1989 batch IAS officer from the Kerala cadre. He has held various assignments in the Union and State Government. He has also served as:
- Additional Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries
- Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs
- Managing Director of Kerala State
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation is the apex authority of the Government of India. It formulates policies, sponsors and supports programs, and coordinates the activities of various Central Ministries, State Governments, and other nodal authorities.
