ADG AP Singh, who was looking after the additional charge of the department, has been relieved from the post and has been given the additional charge of APT along with Advisor Security, State Government, New Delhi.

Earlier, IPS officer Abhishek Trivedi had the additional charge of ATP. After returning from deputation, he was not posted in the department for about two weeks.

Bureaucrats Magazine – The state government has issued these instructions on Monday. Ojha is a 1989 batch IAS officer of Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu. Ojha was on central deputation for five years. He joined two weeks ago. Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu will retire in April 2024. Ojha is at the top in the seniority list. It is believed that after Sanjay Kundu’s retirement, he will be made DGP.
