Meet Hari Chandana Dasari, IAS officer who left lucrative job in London to crack UPSC in second attempt….

Bureaucrats Magazine – Breaking News-Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) examination is considered by many as the toughest examination in India and each year lakhs of UPSC aspirants appear in the exam with the aim to crack it and become an IAS officer. But only a few of them succeed in cracking the UPSC exam and become IAS officer.

It comes as no surprise that many women have chosen to take on this difficult position and have since made significant contributions to our society via their unselfish commitment and dedication. 

Today, we will tell you about Hari Chandana Dasari, who decided to leave her reputed job abroad to become an IAS officer.

Bureaucrats Magazine – Breaking News-Hari completed her schooling in Hyderabad and Telangana. She completed her 12th grade at St. Ann’s in Hyderabad. She then finished her undergraduate studies at St. Anns College in Hyderabad and her postgraduate work at the University of Hyderabad. Her mother is a homemaker, while her father was an IAS officer. 

She completed her M.Sc in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics. She subsequently began working for the World Bank. She then worked for BP Shell in London. 

she realised how committed her father was to serving society by becoming an IAS official. In order to contribute to society, Hari made a decision to become a civil servant. In 2010, she cracked the UPSC exam in her second attempt and was assigned to Telangana’s state cadre (IAS 2010 Batch)

IAS officer from Telangana’s 2010 batch, Hari Chandana Dasari, has made significant contributions to the field of public service. She has earned accolades and recognition for her relentless efforts to improve the lives of society’s outcasts, including the coveted Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration. She has worked in various capacities, including Hyderabad’s Joint Collector, and she has excelled in each of them.
