Bureaucrats Magazine – Rajeev Verma, a 1992 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of the Union Territory in place of Ashwani Kumar. Mr Kumar has been transferred to New Delhi.
Bureaucrats Magazine – Mr. Verma is currently serving as the Principal Secretary (Home) and Agriculture Production Commissioner and Chairman of Staff Selection Board to the Arunachal Pradesh government.
Shri. Rajeev Verma, IAS ; is the chief secretary of the Government of Puducherry. He is an AGMUT cadre Indian Administrative Services Officer of 1992 batch. He belongs to Uttar Pradesh state. He completed his MTech.(IIT) . He is now looking after Confidential and Cabinet Department, Home, Administrative Reforms Wing, Departmental Inquiries, Enforcement Cell and Vigilance departments of Government of Puducherry.
