In view of further strengthening of law and order in the state, the responsibilities of seven senior IPS officers have been reshuffled. The biggest discussion in this is regarding the transfer of Kanpur Police Commissioner Dr. R.K. Swarnkar. He has been given new posting as ADG APTC Sitapur. Senior IPS Akhil Kumar will be the new Police Commissioner of Kanpur in his place.
