Dr. Rajaganapathy R. is an IAS officer in Uttar Pradesh, India. He is the Director of Administration, Medical and Health services in UP. He is also the Director of the State Institute of Health Family. 

Rajaganapathy R. was born on October 1, 1984.  He has an MBBS and MPA.  He was a Joint Magistrate in Basti in 2017.  He was also the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Etawah in February 2019.

It is said that the villages here are full of wrestlers. The young boys of the village keep preparing for wrestling or joining the police and army. But, they do not have resources. But, an officer’s eyes fell on him and his appearance changed.

Bureaucrats Magazine –Raja Ganapathy Ramaswamy is the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Etawah. He saw that some youth were running on the road in Badpura block. Later he saw the same in another block also. The scene was the same on the highway also.

Bureaucrats Magazine –After this Ramaswami reached Manikpur Visu village and talked to the villagers. There he came to know that there is no place for these youth to practice. During his 18-month tenure, this 2015 batch officer changed the face of the district. Today there are 25 parks in Etawah which have open gyms. 80 open gyms, 11 rural multipurpose stadiums, 180 children’s parks in schools, 125 herbal gardens, 80 worksheds for women were constructed at the Panchayat level.

Bureaucrats Magazine –Not only this, along with beautification of 1400 schools through ‘Operation Kayakalp’, 30 RO plants were installed in an area of ​​250 km on the banks of 4 rivers Sengar, Purah, Anaiya and Sirsa. Not only this, he did not even ask for any extra funds or manpower for all these works.

He got all this work done from the ongoing scheme, MNREGA, Panchayat fund and funds from public representatives. His entire focus was on health and fitness, which he accomplished very well.
