Bureaucrats Magazine – SDM sent summons to UP Governor Anandiben Patel in land dispute. There is a land case under the Revenue Code in which a summons was sent to the Governor to appear on October 18. Raj Bhavan Secretariat raised objection.

Bureaucrats Magazine – The negligence of the administrative officials in Badaun district is taking a heavy toll on them. Ignoring the arrangements from the SDM Judicial Court of Badaun Sadar Tehsil, summons were issued in the name of the Governor and an order was issued to appear in the court and present his side. When the summons of the SDM court reached Raj Bhavan, the Governor’s Secretariat sent a letter to the DM considering it highly objectionable, warned the concerned and ordered action as per rules. In this matter the DM has warned the SDM Judicial.

Bureaucrats Magazine – Chandrahas of Loda Bahedi village of police station Civil Line area had filed a suit in the court of SDM Judicial Vineet Kumar of Sadar Tehsil, making Lekhraj, concerned PWD officials and the Governor as parties as opposition parties. According to the suit, the land of plaintiff Chandrahas’s aunt Katori Devi had been registered in his name by her relative. After registering the land, the said land was sold to a person named Lekhraj.A few days later, out of two and a half bigha land, one bigha land was acquired by the government for the bypass. In lieu of that property, Lekhraj received Rs 15 lakh from the government. Later Chandrahas filed a suit in the SDM Judicial Court demanding to register his name in the Khasra Khatauni of the said land. After this, on October 18, the SDM Court issued summons to the Governor to present his case.

Bureaucrats Magazine – DM Badaun, Manoj Kumar said that instructions were given in the letter of the Special Secretary to the Governor to give a warning. SDM Judicial has been warned. A report has been called for in the matter. Ignoring the arrangements from the SDM Judicial Court of Sadar Tehsil, summons were issued in the name of the Governor and an order was issued to appear in the court and present his side. The court had issued summons in the name of Lekhraj and the Governor on October 7. The said summons reached Raj Bhavan on 10 October.After the notice was issued in the court on October 16, Badrinath Singh, Special Secretary to the Governor, sent a letter to the DM calling it highly objectionable and ordered action. On October 18, the court had issued summons to the Governor to appear and present his case.

Bureaucrats Magazine – The petition has been filed under Section 144 of the Revenue Code. Chandrahas of Loda Bahedi village of Badaun has filed a petition under Section 144 of the Revenue Code in the Judicial Court of Sadar Tehsil. In this, if a wrong name is registered on any property, then a suit is filed to cancel its name and register the correct name and for amendment. The summons on the suit should have been sent in the name of the land holding body PWD whereas the summons was sent in the name of the Governor.

Bureaucrats Magazine – a violation of Article 361 In the letter issued by the Governor’s Secretariat to the DM, it was mentioned that no summons or notice can be issued against a person holding a constitutional post. A strong objection was lodged considering it a violation of Article 361 of the Constitution. The Special Secretary to the Governor has intervened with DM Badaun and given instructions to take necessary action regarding presentation of the case and issuance of notice as per rules.
