Ritwika Pandey: IFS Topper, A Glimpse into Her Journey..

Ritwika Pandey, a resident of Garhwa, Jharkhand, has secured the first rank in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination, bringing immense pride to both her district and the state. She achieved this prestigious position in the UPSC exam 2023. Ritwika’s father, Vijay Pandey, is a retired Deputy Director from the Horticulture Board.

Ritvika Pandey, a daughter of Garhwa, has brought immense pride to the district and the state of Jharkhand by securing the first rank in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) exam. Ritvika, the daughter of Vijay Pandey from Kundi village in the Garhwa police station area, achieved this distinction through the UPSC examination 2023. Ritvika is the granddaughter of the late Vikrama Pandey, a renowned leader of the Primary Teachers Association in the Palamu division during the era of United Bihar. Her maternal home is in Nauhatta village, Rohtas district, Bihar. Ritwika’s entire family resides in New Delhi.

Ritwika, the younger of two siblings, has an elder brother named Priyanshu Pandey, who serves in the Indian Police Service. Despite their residence in New Delhi, they occasionally visit their ancestral village of Kundi.

After completing her B.Tech, Ritwika embarked on her journey to prepare for the Indian Administrative Service. This year, she achieved success in her second attempt. The residents of her native village, Kundi, and the surrounding areas are jubilant over Ritwika’s remarkable achievement of securing the first rank in the Indian Forest Service nationwide. They believe that Ritwika has brought immense pride not only to her village but also to the state of Jharkhand.
