UP News: 4 IAS officers transferred again in UP, Kaushal Raj Sharma appointed commissioner of Varanasi

Lucknow: Once again administrative reshuffle has been done on a large scale in Uttar Pradesh . On Saturday, 4 IAS officers have been given new responsibilities. In which the District Magistrate of PM Modi’s parliamentary constituency Kaushal Raj Sharma has been made the commissioner of Varanasi. On the other hand, Kumar Prashant, Special Secretary, Home Department, has been made Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch. Along with this, many other IAS officers have also been transferred from here to there.

On the other hand, Special Secretary Secondary Education Shambhu Kumar has been made Managing Director (MD) of Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam. Along with this, IAS Rupesh Kumar has also been transferred and he has been made Special Secretary, Secondary Education Department. It is being told that Rupesh Kumar, an IAS officer of 2009 batch, was still handling the responsibility of the post of Special Secretary in the Sugar and Sugarcane Department.

According to the information being received, Deepak Agarwal, who was the Commissioner of Varanasi, has been sent on deputation to serve the Central Government. DM Kaushal Raj Sharma has been made the commissioner of Varanasi in his place. At present, Kaushal Raj Sharma will also hold the charge of District Magistrate of Varanasi. That is, till the name of the new DM of Varanasi is announced, Kaushal Raj Sharma will hold the dual responsibility of the post of DM and Commissioner.
