Ranjan Kumar IAS posted as Secretary, Medical and Health, UP….

(Uttar Pradesh 2000) presently Secretary ,Urban Development Deptt Govt of UP, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Medical and Health, Uttar Pradesh.

In the bureaucracy of Uttar Pradesh, 2000 batch IAS officer Ranjan Kumar, Secretary Urban Development, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Mission Director Amrit Yojana. Everyone in the family of IAS Association General Secretary Ranjan Kumar is a bureaucrat. Wife IFS Anju Ranjan 2002 batch is posted Consulate General of India, Johannesburg (South Africa). Brother IAS Ranveer Prasad 2000 batch is Secretary Revenue & Relief Commissioner in Lucknow. Whereas Bareilly’s commissioner IAS Selva Kumari, wife of his brother IAS Ranveer. J is a 2006 batch officer.

IAS Ranjan Kumar’s family is full of bureaucrats. Lucknow Commissioner IAS Ranjan Kumar had a dispute with LDA Chief Engineer after the government removed him and made him Secretary, Urban Development. But later increasing the stature of Ranjan Kumar, who had a strong hold on bureaucracy. Mission Director was given the additional responsibility of Amrit Yojana. Well behaved and hardworking officer is carrying the responsibility of IAS UP Association on his shoulders.

In a career spanning over 21 years, senior IAS officer Mr. Kumar has served in different capacities and handled several important assignments. Prior to his current posting, he was Secretary in the Public Works Department. He has also served as the Secretary, Revenue Department, Rural Development Department, Project Director, Community Project Rural Development, Divisional Commissioner, Mirzapur, Special Secretary, Irrigation, Flood Control, Medical Education, Food & Civil Supplies Departments and Chief Development Officer, Gorakhpur.

He was also the District Magistrate & Collector of nine districts of UP – Gorakhpur, Amroha, Shamli, Pratapgarh, Bagpat, Banda, Ballia, Auraiya and Chitrakoot.
